Tauranga Bridge 2006

Design for a combined foot-bridge and services pipe-line to run along side an existing rail-bridge for the Tauranga City Council.

The design was to cater for pedestrian access and ducting of a main sewerage pipeline across the harbours breadth. Simple precast concrete forms provide for a cost effective material and on-site fitment and a constructive counter to the existing (to be renovated) steel framed rail-bridge.

Collaborative design and documenting for and on behalf of Moller Architects NZ in association with URS Consulting Engineers.
